"HRB Show Promo"
The "Tristan Barratt Audio Experience" was aired every Sunday evening from 1900hrs to 2100hrs - up against "Heartbeat".
I should have taken the hint then...
"Hi There, I'm Tris..."
Sung over "Above and Beyond" by The Bee Gees.
"Strawberry Fool"
This was co-written and predominantly sung by Saxon Bullock and remains one of my favourite jingles.
Sung over "Something Wicked This Way Comes" by Barry Adamson.
"The Notorious Trissy B"
Backed by music from Baz Luhrman's "Romeo & Juliet" this jingle features David Hemmings from Airwolf as Dr Moffet
- and some pretty big explosions...
"Life Ain't Worth Living"
Not the jolliest of titles but the jingle makes up for it
Sung over the intro of "When He's Gone" by The Bee Gees.
"Star People!"
For my HRB Show, I'd read out the celebrity gossip and crap that was in the Sunday papers.
This was the intro to that section.
"At Home With The Bee Gees"
Trying to twist the fact that in the mid/late 90's everyone and their Gran had done a cover of a
Bee Gees song at some point...
"Ethereal David Hasselhoff"
Using sampled "Knight Rider" dialogue and another "Romeo and Juliet" music bed,
this works well but is too long...
"I'm Danny Glover"
Recorded after someone gave me a helium balloon for a birthday.
This was one of my earliest attempts - and it shows...
"Looking For Love"
Used as an introductory piece to "Looking For Love" by Karen Ramirez.
It features one of my worst puns to date and I'm still jolly well proud of it.
"Good Day Grippers"
Recorded in my time at Radio Cornwall.
This was one of my first jingles edited on a PC platform and featured the voice of Cameron Carter.
"Boggest Fin"
When I wrote these jingles I asked whoever it was reading them to just do it in one take, without seeing the script beforehand.
Made for some interesting reactions...
