My interest in video goes back a long way.
It's resulted in some "interesting" stuff - but it's all great YouTube fodder...
"Long Gone Childhood Days..." (1989)
This was recently discovered on an old video I found hidden in the back of a cupboard.
Starts with darkness, then "Now You're Gone" by Black starts playing and a pair of feet wander out of Pool School's library into the bushes. After that, a loose spoof of "Film 1989" is preceded by some footage of me (in a wig) and some friends walking into our old English classroom and setting stuff up - all to the soundtrack of a sausage commercial.
Animotion - "Obsession " (1990)
Another of my early experimental videos.
There was a documentary on BBC2 one evening about the Gulf War that was just kicking off. I taped it and used the footage to create my own video to the 1985 song "Obsession" by Animotion.
"The Alchemist" (1991)
Saxon Bullock, my friend who was also at Cornwall College with me, wrote and created a massive 1 hour no-budget science fiction spectacular called "The Alchemist".

The Alchemist - Outtakes Part 1 (1991)
Now that you've been subjected to the full Alchemist, here's some more!
These are the outtakes from the production, including scenes that were cut from the final version.

TPBee Gees: "When He's Gone" (1992)
Created as part of my Media Studies 'A' Level in 1992, this is my version of the Bee Gees' track "When He's Gone", taken from 1991's "High Civilization".
TPBee Gees: "When He's Gone" - Saxon in the Spotlight (2005)
This piece was edited together in 2005 as a tribute to Saxon, who helped me during the shooting of the "When He's Gone" Video.
Newquay Steam Commercial (1993)
Made in 1993, my friend Viv Townsend entered a competition for a local brewery, to create promotional idea for a new ale called "Steam".
After he conceptualised and storyboarded it, he asked me to film and edit the piece - and this is the result! We received a commendation as a result.
The New Airwolf: The Next Generation (1993)
1993 was a productive year - this was shot during the Summer as a bit of a project to pass the time - and to have the footage so I could take it away to Uni for editing.

The World's Worst Job (1995)
This was created in 1995 as part of my Degree at Salford University (then University College Salford). It was my second year final video piece.
You would never tell from it that Chris Morris was a huge influence on me at the time.
TPB Radio Won FM - Part 1 (1996)
This was my Major at University.
A self-written parody of the then current "One FM - As It Is" film and advertising campaign that was shown quite frequently at the time in 1996.
The first part features "Simon Halo" in his early morning slot.
TPB Radio Won FM - Part 2 (1996)
This second part features "Dicky Handell" in the mid-afternoon slot.
TPB Radio Won FM - Part 3 (1996)
This third part features myself as "Nark Baddier".
The idea was that he was a bit of a git whenever off air, but whenever he opens his "golden fader", he transforms into 'Mr Slick' the tip top-tastic ultra glossy top pro DJ...
Hastings 2002 (2002)
A short video I made during a trip to Hastings in 2002 - edited to "Calypso 2" - a track on Jean Michel Jarre's 1990 album "Waiting for Cousteau".
Carn Brea (2002)
Carn Brea is an ancient hill fort between Camborne and Redruth in Cornwall. I grew up there and this short video was made in 2002 when I returned on a visit from London.
The Drive Home (2002)
As we lived in Potters Bar at the time, I decided to video a return journey from Cornwall at the end of our Easter break in 2002. I then cut the footage to a track called "The Drive Home" by Chicane, which seemed jolly appropriate.
This is particularly noteworthy, as it shows the old iron bridge on Goss Moor, Bodmin that used to cause huge tailbacks when lorries ran into it.
The new Goss Moor bypass was completed mid 2007, so the A30 no longer takes the route under the bridge.
The Great Blizzard of Potters Bar - January 2003 -Part 1 (2003)
In January 2003 it snowed, which ground the SE of England to a complete halt.
People were stuck overnight on the M11, including Richard and Judy.
This is Part 1.

Wreck of the RMS Mulheim (2003)
In 2003 the RMS Mulheim ran ashore near Sennen, Lands End.
I gathered as many pictures from the internet at the time as I could and created this slide show, adding my own footage shot when we were down on holiday at Easter that year.
2000 Ford Mondeo Promotional Video (2004)
In 2004 I sold my then current car to my former boss.
As he was in London and I was in Cornwall, viewing wasn't very easy, so I made him this short promotional video.
RNAS Culdrose Air Day 2004 (2007)
The weather wasn't great - hence the video is very short but at least you get the flavour of the static displays.
Duchy Capri Club Car Run - April 2006 (2007)
The first Duchy Capri Club run of the season in 2006 and also the first year I was a member. We went from Fraddam to Bude in convoy with some Ford Probes.
The Duchy Capri Club Classic Car Show (2007)
For the Duchy Capri Club's annual classic car show in 2007 I shot video footage throughout the day in order to make a short piece to add to the website.
It was edited to a track called "Halcyon" by Chicane.
Old Skool Ford Run (2007)
On Saturday 6th October 2007, a Classic Ford car run was organised by Duchy Capri Club member Lee Jessup.
The destination was the Route 38 Diner at Trerulefoot, Cornwall.
A Drive Through Camborne in a Ford Capri (2007)
Following my mate Dave Dellar's gorgeous red 2.8 Injection Special through Camborne, up the A30 and on to Chiverton Services.
Duchy Capri Club Season Finale Run (2007)
The final run of the 2007 season saw the club drive up to Looe for a pub lunch.
This footage is basically my camcorder stuck to the rear window of my car and sped up...
Duchy Capri Club Classic Car Show (2008)
Our final show at Flambards theme park for this year's Duchy Capri Club Classic Car Show.
A new venue is yet to be decided, but check out their website for more details!
